The OBA protocol is the framework that, since 2001, regulates the use by the rest of the operators in the TELEFONICA DE ESPAÑA S.A.U infrastructure, within the telecommunications liberalization project.
Since the telecommunication liberalization, EMSER has carried out all kinds of jobs, managements, mediations, studies and/or seminars for the most important telecommunications operators in the Spanish market within this OBA environment (ALBURA, AUNA, ONO, YACOM, UNI2, ALPI , ORANGE and VODAFONE).
In this case, EMSER performs audits in 1400 OBA rooms for the ORANGE operator.
EMSER uses qualified technicians with extensive experience in installation and configuration of transmission, aggregation and access equipment to carry out these tasks.
These audits study the space, power and signal delivery needs of the equipment that the operator has installed in them.
The technical studies will provide the operator with detailed information on the necessary infrastructures and at the same time will suppose an improvement in the efficiency of these facilities, since the operator will adapt to the reality the contracting of space, energy and signal deliveries.
Once the on-site visits are finished, the reports that determine the resources that can be dismissed are prepared.
The project also includes the disassembly, removal and recycling of disused frames that will free up resources and save high costs to the operator.
These tasks have been carried out in 2018 and 2019.
